If you are unable to access the internet on your BSNL number, then we are here to give you the solution that will help to troubleshoot internet-related problems. But before applying any solution, try to find the actual cause of the problem. It might be because your device is not configured for the BSNL network GPRS settings.
If your smartphone is not configured with the network settings. Internet connection will not work on your number. Or a few more causes can be, If you are in a roaming area, Enable SIM Data roaming from mobile network settings or it can be your internet data services disabled.
Android smartphones support only two types of network GSM & DMA. When your smartphone tries to connect with the GSM network. It uses the General Packet Radio Service, or GPRS, to transfer data to and from the network. If your Android phone is unable to transfer data over a GSM network, turn on the GPRS in the device’s configuration settings.
BSNL 3G/4G GPRS Internet Setting and Configure APN
If your network setting is not configured then you can request your network operator for BSNL GPRS internet data settings. BSNL customers can get BSNL settings by sending SMS in the given format <manufacturer name> space <model name> of your handset and send it to 58355. (E.g. <Nokia> space <N79> to 58355)
If you have followed the above steps after all your internet connection is not working, it might be your data is disabled. You can enable data service on your number by sending SMS type “GPRS” and send it to 53733 or call on the BSNL customer care to enable this service.
Configure Manually BSNL APN Internet Settings
To configure APN settings, Open your mobile Settings >> Mobile networks and edit the Access Points Names option with the below settings.
